Job Overview

Angels and Muse is hiring an Associate Program Manager in Lagos to support the planning and delivery of impactful arts and cultural programs.

This role is ideal for a highly organised professional passionate about arts, culture, and creative communities, with a strong interest in program coordination and cultural project management.

You will play a key role in delivering residencies, exhibitions, workshops, festivals, publications, and public engagements that support artists across Africa and the diaspora.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination

• Support the development and execution of programs from concept to delivery

• Manage schedules, timelines, logistics, and documentation

• Coordinate with artists, facilitators, speakers, and partners

• Assist with residency and fellowship programs, including onboarding and communication

Administrative & Operational Support

• Maintain accurate program records, budgets, and reports

• Support grant reporting and institutional documentation

• Track deliverables and ensure milestones are achieved on time

• Assist with internal planning meetings and documentation

Communications & Liaison

• Act as a liaison between the program team and external stakeholders

• Draft program briefs, summaries, and internal communications

• Support cross-functional coordination (communications, finance, operations)

Event & Program Delivery

• Provide on-site support during exhibitions, workshops, talks, and events

• Assist with post-program evaluations and reporting

• Contribute to documentation and learning for future program improvement

Requirements

• Background in arts administration, cultural management, humanities, or related field

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Proficiency in office and project management tools

Desirable

• Experience in the arts, culture, or creative sector

• Prior experience in a non-profit or cultural organisation

• Detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
