Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled Electrician in the Lagos Free Trade Zone to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial environment.

This role is ideal for a technically competent professional with experience in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance within factories or production facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems

• Diagnose faults and perform timely troubleshooting of electrical issues

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations

• Monitor electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime

• Support production teams by resolving electrical faults quickly

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs

Requirements

• OND/HND or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as an Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, panels, and industrial equipment

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience working in a Free Trade Zone or factory environment

• Familiarity with PLC systems and automation (an advantage)

• Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and maintenance systems
